Birmingham Home Improvement Stores

Beverly Hills Ace Hardware
17670 W 13 Mile Rd, Beverly Hills, MI
Everybody who lives and works in the Birmingham area knows that Beverly Hills Ace Hardware is the place to go for all of your hardware and home improvement needs. Located in the beautiful The Corners Shopping Center on 13 Mile, it’s super convenient if you live or work in the area, and they have virtually any item that you could possibly be after. The Ace chain is known for having a huge selection of household tools and supplies, and this particular location is staffed by one of the most knowledgeable groups of people that we have ever done business with. They’ll take you straight to whatever the item is that you need, even if you yourself don’t have a clue what item you really need! They know their stuff and we appreciate it. Very reasonable prices and a very nice, clean, organized store for your shopping.

Home Depot
1177 Coolidge Hwy, Troy, MI
Home Depot is always a smart choice for virtually any home improvement, home repair, or home renovation project! There’s nothing that you could be looking for that they won’t have in stock. After all, have you ever counted the aisles and shelves in one of these stores? Have you ever taken notice of how enormous they are? They have room to fit it all in, and they definitely do! Whether you are looking for lumber, plumbing, hardware, household appliances, tools… you name it, they’ve got it! Their electrical selection is outstanding and they really do a great job in the lumber department too. We’re big fans of their truck rentals too, so don’t be afraid to ask about that if you’ve got a big haul and you’re not able to do it in your own vehicle. It’s more affordable than you’d think. A definite recommendation for our Birmingham area Metro Detroit Tree Service customers.

Russell Hardware Co
36280 Woodward Ave, Bloomfield Hills, MI
Russell Hardware Co is a classic for our Birmingham area Metro Detroit Tree Service customers. Anytime one of them asks us what the best hardware store in the area is, we’re highly likely to think of this one first. They feature some really stunning items here, including high-end faucets and other household hardware that rivals the quality of what you will find at the big boys, a.k.a. Home Depot and Lowe’s. And their inventory is always overflowing, never ever out of stock. Don’t be afraid to do some shopping at the smaller stores when you’re upgrading things in your home. You might really like what you find, and that’s certainly true if we’re talking about Russell Hardware Co out here on Woodward in Birmingham. A real winner of a store with an outstanding staff too. We could not recommend this one more highly than we do.

Lowe’s
28650 Telegraph Rd, Southfield, MI
And finally we come to Lowe’s, a very close competitor to Home Depot. They, too, offer a huge store with dozens of aisles that are just filled to the brim with every home improvement item that you could ever dream of. It’s a home renovator’s dream! If you’re upgrading something, fixing something, or replacing something, head over to this convenient location on Telegraph Road (not actually in Birmingham but nearby in Southfield) and let them take good care of you. If you need lumber, we highly recommend their lumber department, and the staff is really quick and helpful there too. The plumbing and electrical departments are always well-stocked and well-staffed, and we also really appreciate their gorgeous and inspiring lighting department. Even if you’re not buying lighting, you’ll likely get some ideas while you browse!
